another magic moment

There's that one tiny moment when you look up at the sky, and you witness something amazing.
I was given that moment a while ago, and it was magical. As every moment in our lives. Because God's mercies are new at every tiniest bit of a second.

Tonight, at 11:15pm, May 17, 2010, I saw my second shooting star. It was a sight. That very moment I turned to look up at the sky, I saw it. See how God makes you appreciate all that he did? It was a moment of being in the right place, at the right time. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. Very good indeed.

It was another magic moment.

I finally had the time to watch the movie a while ago. It's a heartbreaker. Made me cry. My eyes are poofy. And I love it. It's a must-read-the-book and must-watch-the-movie kind of story. All Nicholas Sparks novels-turned-movies, they all made me cry. All the stories are touching, moving and they will all make you fall in love.

*sigh

Looking forward to "The Last Song" - movie version. I think it will have me crying too. The book did. All of the Sparks' novels that I read so far did.

sana sa halalan

Sana sa darating na halalan, lahat tayo ay bumoto sa tamang kandidato...

Sana ang mga kandidato, di lang puro salita at puro commercial at puro pambabato ng putik sa kalaban..

Sana ang mga kandidato, maging tama ang motibo sa pagtakbo... pag hindi, pede back out ka na?

Sana maging maayos ang bagong sistema sa botohan...

Sana ayusin na ng mga Pilipino ang pagpili...

Sana matino. Sana may alam. Sana hindi nga kurakot. Sana may magagawa. Sana may takot sa Diyos.

Sana talaga.

Kasi naman! Yang mga ads na "Stop mudslinging!" ay parang nang-mmudsling din. Sounds vague, but you'd get my drift. Lalo na kung Pinoy ka. Nakakainis lang.

Pagbabago talaga. Yan ang kailangan ng bawat isa.

Save the world one crayon at a time. New lives for old crayons!

I teach preschool students and I love seeing them coloring our activities away but crayons are dismembered in the process because the kids "share" the crayons. I hope I can do something to save them. The stubs just end up in the bottom of our ice cream can-turned-crayon box or trodden or black instead of its real color or worse, outside, melting away on the cement.

I saw this program called Crazy Crayons and instrctions for recycling crayons. I want to be one of the crayon recycling people!
